Excerpt: Mr. Pitt alfo again appeared as its opponent, ill an artificial harangue decorated with a great external fhew of candor and fpecioufnefs of language. On a divifion the numbers were, ayes 104, noes 124; fo that this important queftion - important indeed even beyond what the minifter himfelf probably had at this period any conception of - was loft by twenty voices only.
