Besides, there is no study that indicates Ethiopian athletes are whether adequately taking macro and micro nutrients, to rule out the deficiency hypothesis. The study started with 101 professional Athletes, available and agreed to participate in the study. The findings written in this book covers micronutrient status, such as Iron, Folate, Vit B12, anemia and red blood cell (RBC) level, then tried to associate with their performance.
