The minutes of yesterday's proceedings were read and approved. Mr. Wetherill, from the Committee on Credentials, reported that they had considered the application of the Cincinnati Chamber of Commerce, and recommend the readmission of that body; he said, it was an extremely gratifying thing that so important an organization had seen fit to reconsider its action in retiring from the membership; the Committee on Credentials hoped that, as the annual dues to the National Board are now light, every delegate would make efforts to increase the constituent membership. The same gentleman, from the same Committee, reported back the application of the Buffalo Board of Trade for permission to withdraw from the membership, with the recommendation that its request be granted, provided the dues remaining unpaid for the year 1880, be paid. The reports were considered separately and adopted. The following report and accompanying bill relative to adulteration of food, was submitted by the President, and read by the Secretary. REPORT ON FOOD ADULTERATION. 75 New York, Oct. 27th, 1880. To The Hon. Frederick Fraley, President of the National Board of Trade.
