After graduation from Wheaton College in 1960 with a degree in general science, Dan began his working career with IBM, which gave him a solid foundation in computing and finance. Early in his career, Dan began to develop his entrepreneurial spirit, which led to the founding of numerous businesses, either by himself or in conjunction with partners. Dan has been married for over fifty years to Norma, his best friend and life companion. They have two children and three grandchildren.
