The laborious and innovative expedition performed dangerous river crossings, traveled along narrow ridges and atop a high plateau with views of the Kibish valley and Omo flats, passed through several small villages, and through a tse-tse fly belt! Includes a large fold-out color map showing routes taken from 1923 to 1926 through southwest Abyssina, Anglo-Egyptian Sudan, Uganda, and Kenya, also delineating international versus intercolonial boundaries.
