Born in NY from Puerto Rican parents, Bill Guzmán earned a Bachelor of Business Administration at Baruch College from the City University of New York where he majored in Computer Sciences.  Soon after graduation he began a career in Information Technologies that lasted for more than 16 years, spending the last four as a manager of IT professionals.  “I left my IT career at the top because I no longer found it satisfying” he says.  And by the end of 2000 he decided to strike it on his own by becoming a Real Estate investor among other things, right until he reconnected with someone in the insurance industry and decided to give it a try.  Since the end of 2013 the author has been operating an insurance office in the Raleigh area serving everyone.   “I will probably die doing this” Mr. Guzmán says of himself, having found something that doesn’t bore him at all.    So far he has published two books in both English and Spanish editions, and has done the Spanish translation himself.  “There is yet another book in me still, but that will have to wait.  Writers quite often cannot feed themselves with writing alone, and I am one of them unfortunately.   But even if the books become major hits I would still work” he continued.  “I could never be a full-time writer.  I need to be doing something else besides writing in order to be any good at it.”   Books List_Books<
