Maurice loves the Lord and has a heart for people as he has mentored hundreds of students, coaches, teachers and others whom God has placed in his path. Previously, Maurice worked in Pepperdine's Athletic Department as an academic advisor in 2001 and subsequently became its Assistant Women's Basketball Coach from 2008 to 2010. He also serves as that institution's athletic chaplain.
