Thermal storage applications have been proven to be ef cient and n- cially viable, yet they have not been exploited suf ciently. For widespread applications of properly designed and high-ef ciency thermal energy storage systems, one must consult the scienti c and technical expertise of scientists and engineers in this eld. There is an urgent need for an educational opp- tunity to serve this purpose.
