A reduced-format facsimile reprint of Crowley's the 1929 LeCram Press edition of Crowley's Magick (Book Four, Part III). The publication of this edition was more than a little controversial as in the attendant publicity it was suggested that it had been authorised by Crowley's literary executor, and that this was none other than the publisher, Anthony Naylor, who had assumed the mantle from John Symonds. This copy from the collection of Clive Harper with his discrete book-label neatly tipped in at the rear. Harper is well- known as the bibliographer of Austin Osman Spare, for updating the Aleister Crowley bibliography in the 2011 Teitan Press collection of Gerald Yorke's writings, and as someone who has lent his expertise to numerous other publications. The label can easily be removed without affecting the page, although it would be a shame not to preserve this record of the book's provenance. An interesting memento of a particularly turbulent time in the history of the Crowley copyright disputes. Covers very slightly rubbed at edges and spine, else a tight, unmarked near Fine copy.<
